Ursula G Barrios, Esq
Attorney

Ursula Barrios received her Bacherlor of Arts in International Relations with a Minor in Biology from the University of California at Irvine.

Mrs. Barrios has a Masters in Public Health (Health Administration) from Loma Linda University.

Mrs. Barrios earned her Juris Doctorate from Trinity Law School in 2007.

She was admitted to practice law in the summer of 2008 and began to volunteer as an attorney pro bono for The Orange County Public Law Center, helping dozens of less-privileged clients with their legal issues.

In 2008, Mrs. Barrios started her own law practice in Los Angeles. Her caring qualities and dedication to learning the law made her very popular among her clients from the outset. Her Los Angeles office grew exponentially and within one year, Ms. Barrios was attorney to close to 500 bankruptcy clients, a feat quite rare for most new attorneys with little experience. Ms. Barrios literally learned her profession while on the job and the courts, where she would frequent. Through much trial and very little error, Mrs. Barrios made sure the clients that hired her received what they expected and she did so with exceptional charm and competence.

In the fall of 2009, Mrs. Barrios branched out to Orange County and continued with the same success, helping each client with personal attention and a commitment to excellent legal representation. In the spring of 2010, her now husband, Attorney Guillermo Machado, joined the law firm and together they formed Barrios & Machado, LLP, offering aggressive representation in a variety of legal areas (with an emphasis in bankruptcy law).

Today, Mrs. Barrios' (Barrios & Machado) reputation with the bankruptcy courts of Orange, Los Angeles and Riverside Counties is of the highest order. She is well-respected throughout the legal community and is regarded in the courts as an attorney of high legal standard and competency. It is this valuable experience that serves B&M's clients well.

As a staff attorney for a sitting Chapter 13 Trustee said or Mrs. Barrios: "Ursula Barrios has always impressed me with her integrity and the quality of her work. She always shows me she cares about her clients in the results she obtains for her clients."

A PERSONAL STATEMENT FROM MRS. BARRIOS:

"It will always be our top priority to see that all your questions and concerns are fully answered. We pride ourselves on the focused attention Mr. Machado and I deliver to each and every one of our clients. At many firms you see a nonattorney spokesperson for your first consultation and after that you are designated to a paralegal or other assistant (only to per chance see an attorney at your court hearing). At Barrios & Machado the attorneys you see are the attorneys you stay with throughout the entire process. The same attorneys that will answer your phone calls, emails, faxes, and go to court with you with few to no exceptions. It is very important to us that you can confide in your attorneys and feel cared for in these difficult times. You will not simply be pushed through the legal bureaucracy of a large law firm. At Barrios & Machado, we do not take more clients than we can handle, and it is because of this that we are able to walk through the process with you."
